Frankfurt consumer goods fairs in January and February 2022 to be cancelled
In view of the exponential worsening of the pandemic situation worldwide and the accompanying tightened travel and contact regulations, the consumer goods fairs Christmasworld, Paperworld, and Creativeworld are cancelled for January 2022 and Ambiente for mid-February 2022. The regionally-oriented trade fair Nordstil from 15 to 17 January 2022 in Hamburg will take place at the present time.
Paperworld 2022: Jury awards Special Interest Sustainability for the first time to exhibitors with sustainable products
Frankfurt am Main, December 2021. Sustainability, environmentally conscious purchasing and ecological action have been important themes in the paper, office supplies and stationery sector for years and thus also at Paperworld. With the introduction of the Special Interest Sustainability, the trade fair from 29 January to 1 February 2022 will focus even more specifically on sustainability-oriented exhibitors and their products, so that interested buyers can find these suppliers more quickly. A jury of experts has now made the product selection, which exhibitors will be designated with the Special Interest.
Facing Forward: Christmasworld and Paperworld Trends 2022+ open up new design possibilities
"Facing Forward" - this is the motto of the Christmasworld and Paperworld Trends 2022+. The three joint trend statements "hearted+minimal", "mystic+originate" and "local+vital" show the relevant themes, colours, materials, inspirations and styles for 2022+. They provide the international decoration and stationery trade with orientation for individual assortment compilation. A new feature is a broader colour spectrum per trend - for even easier colour combinations in the presentation of goods.
Focus on sustainability: New program at the Frankfurt consumer goods fairs
The fact that products are aesthetically pleasing and trendy alone is no longer enough for an increasing number of consumers today. Sustainability, with all its facets, is now a core global social and economic issue with enormous reach and significance - this is evident both at Messe Frankfurt's consumer goods trade fairs and in the actions of the company itself.
Messe Frankfurt reorganises consumer goods sector
After Julia Uherek and Philipp Ferger took over as Vice Presidents of Consumer Goods Fairs at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition on 01 June 2021, they are now setting up their team with an eye to the future. Further personnel changes at management level will come into effect on 01 July 2021.
The Press Center is located in the Torhaus, Level 4, and only journalists are permitted to enter.
Travelling to the fair
Journalists should enter the Exhibition Centre via Gate West and park on parking area P10. Please note that admission via Gate West is only possible with a parking permit or a valid journalist’s identity card.

All press admission tickets include free travel to the fair and back using local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority in Frankfurt and the region.
