Alte Oper
The best-known building from Frankfurt’s historical past, the neo-Renaissance opera house with which architect Richard Lucae wanted to put Paris and Dresden in the shade. Built from 1873 – 80, the Alte Oper was rebuilt after being bombed during the Second World War and reopened in 1981.

The English Theatre Frankfurt
Wiith seating for 300 people, it is the biggest English-language theatre on the European continent and produces at least five different plays or musicals per season.

During the fair, you can see the musical, "Tommy" from 'The Who's'.
After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother‘s lover by his father, young Tommy is so traumatized that he becomes deaf, dumb and blind.
